yeah. so everyone tells me I should like A Perfect Circle more than I do. I think what I've heard is pretty good...their music is just kind of more standard hard rock/metal fair to me...I like Tool because they are so interesting musically. I do enjoy Maynard's musings, but I can't say I've ever really connected with them -I guess i've always felt they were more novel than anything else. I guess the songs that always come to mind, most immediately, are songs like 4 degrees and Hooker with a penis, or even Aenima (i don't remember which is the song or album title). But, i listen to them and say "that's interesting" or "funny" but i've never listened and though "damn, that's how I feel." I guess this is why there is more than one songwriter in the world. Plus, you know, Maynard sells a lot more albums than Blake ever has...so, I don't have any idea what that means. It's all about "sober."
